A tutor for every student, at university scale
The Intelligent Tutoring System helps a department give each student the kind of individual attention a personal tutor would provide: lessons pitched at the right level, assessments that check understanding, and specific guidance when something is not yet secure.
Why it exists
In large classes it is difficult to notice which students are quietly falling behind on a particular concept. This platform makes that visible — to the student and to the lecturer — and turns it into a concrete next step rather than a grade.
Who it serves
Students working through their courses; lecturers who design those courses and need to understand class performance; and administrators responsible for accounts, academic structure and platform configuration.
How personalisation helps
Learning is tracked per knowledge concept. When a concept is weak, the platform can recommend the prerequisite lesson, a second explanation, or extra practice — and it always explains which result led to the recommendation.
What it deliberately does not do
- It does not replace teaching. Lecturers own the content and every academic decision.
- It does not award or change official grades. Automatic marking produces provisional results; a lecturer publishes them.
- The AI tutor does not answer from general knowledge. It works from the material a lecturer has approved for the course, and says when that material is not enough.
